People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Liya Akhedzhakova told the media that there were no performances with her participation in the repertoire of the Sovremennik Theater, in whose troupe she is a member.
“The director warned that I would no longer be in the repertoire at the request of some angry people who write letters to him. The Department of Culture confirmed that I was removed from the theater’s repertoire. I sit and cry, ”the StarHit actress quotes.
As follows from the message on the theatre’s website, the play “The Gin Game”, in which Akhedzhakova plays, will be replaced with other productions – “Three Comrades”, “Daddy”, “Intuition”. Purchased tickets are valid for new performances, but those who want to return them can contact the Sovremennik box office until February 13. The reasons for the changes in the repertoire are not named.
As Kommersant notes, at the end of 2022, the performance “My grandson Benjamin” in St. Petersburg was postponed, in which Liya Akhedzhakova was supposed to participate.
Earlier, Liya Akhedkhakova said that she had been criticized and hated for her negative statements about the situation in Russia and on the topic of the NWO.
