Home education better known as homeschooling is an alternative model of education that consists of ensuring that children learn without having to leave their homes or attend an educational unit.
With the years, the method has gained presence in several countries around the world such as the United States (its place of origin), Albania, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Hungary, Finland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Thailand, among others, and its popularity has increased thanks to the benefits and solutions it offers for several families.
In Guayaquil, the public interested in learning more about this methodology can attend This Sunday, February 12, to the first Homeschooling Convention of Ecuador and that it will take place in Abel Jiménez Parra Sports Center (Samanes Park). The entrance fee per person will be $5.
The event will bring together for the first time various experts on the subject who will give informative workshops with themes such as: Styles of homeschoolwhat is the homeschool and how it workshis validation of year passes in Ecuador, etc. They will also comment on the positive discipline families homeschool and there will be a workshop reading tips for parents homeschool, among other activities.

This event is powered by Out of the Box Homeschool, Homeschooling by Homework and Skholé (skhloé_homeschooling) and will have different recreational activities for all participating families: school workshops for parents gymkanas, kids area and children’s show, food area with local ventures with high demand where they can enjoy food and drinks of all kindsas well as visit several yestands of Homeschool Centers in the country.
“We notice that the homeschool is a modality that can help many families who are currently frustrated because their children are not doing well in a traditional education, either because they have special needs, are elite athletes, or even they are children with high capacities who need a personalized education. That is why we hold this event in order to promote this new modality and give parents confidence,” he says.
