In Mytishchi, 52 people were detained at a meeting of crime bosses in a restaurant. The operation was carried out by special forces and employees of the criminal investigation department, RBC reports with reference to the data of the REN TV channel, as well as the Telegram channels 112 and Baza.
According to the channel, the operation was carried out on February 6 near the Grenada restaurant in Mytishchi in the north-east of the city. During a body search, the alleged criminal authorities were found to have two firearms (the TV channel does not specify their type) and a bag of gray powder.
According to the Telegram channel Baza, five traumatic pistols and one Saiga carbine were seized, among the detainees – 48 natives of Azerbaijan, two from Dagestan, one each from Tajikistan and Armenia, about a hundred security officials participated in the detention. The channel also reported on the attempt of several restaurant visitors to escape, according to preliminary data, they were detained.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region reported that the information is being specified.
