“Get your license without a course”, “Did they cancel your license? Don’t worry, we’ll make you correct the error”, “We help you get, renew your license or recover the 30 points”. These are some of the messages that processors post on social networks to attract customers who are looking to get their license for the first time or renew it.
The profiles of the processors are presented in networks such as pages for the sale of articles, operators of heavy machinery or vehicle procedures.

There are also profiles of Facebook of people who offer paperwork services on larger pages with more followers.
This newspaper contacted two pages that offer this type of service. When asked about the price of the type B license, they replied that they have two options: “with a course at $380 and without a course at $300”.
The process for the professional license is between $800 and $1,000 without the course and with it.
One of them even responded that even if the person is not a bachelor, the process could be done. “If he is not a bachelor and does not have a course, it costs a little more, but he goes out,” replied one of the pages.
Other users who offer the services place telephone numbers to coordinate appointments and guarantee the delivery of documents and later the plastic in person.
The bidders also mention that they are “legal” licenses and that they have authorization from the National Transit Agency (ANT), therefore, they guarantee their validity.
Given the proliferation of this type of offer, on January 31 the ANT issued a statement in which it indicated that licenses that do not meet the legal requirements established for obtaining the document would be annulled.
That is, having the turn generated on the official website of the entity, canceling amounts in banking entities, taking the psychosensometric exam and attending the face-to-face process at authorized agencies.

In 2021, the entity annulled 35,000 driver’s licenses nationwide that were obtained fraudulently. The figure was provided by a report prepared from internal investigations, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office and the National Police.
The following year, the entity launched a new license format with the aim of reducing counterfeiting. The format adheres to specific ISO international standards for this type of document.
The ANT urged citizens not to go to the so-called “processors” and they may fall for scams.
The current costs of non-professional and professional licenses are type A or B: $68; type F: $42; and, professionals $110.

However, several users on social networks point out that part of what leads them to lean towards processors is the waiting time for turns to get the document and the lack of speed at the time of carrying out the procedure.
A user complained about the delays in the authorized agencies. “They make you make a kilometric line to distribute 20 daily shifts. Or you have to pay to have your licenses arranged for the same day,” she commented.
