The sectional elections in Ecuador will take place next Sunday, February 5, the day on which citizens will elect mayors, prefects, councilors, members of parish councils, and members of the Citizen Participation Council, in addition to answering the eight questions of the popular consultation proposed by he President Guillermo Lasso.
The polls in the electoral precincts will close at 5:00 p.m. and the first results of the elections are expected to come out at 7:00 p.m. The first dignities to be announced will be the mayors.
