After five years of the 2016 earthquake, the Sucre Canton Municipality building reopened its doors.
The mayor of the Manabi canton, Íngrid Zambrano, maintained that the recommendations of the experts and the State Comptroller General’s Office were followed, regarding the reconstruction of the Municipal Palace in order to safeguard the integrity of the employees and users who frequent the headquarters .
“We have complied with the observations made and reinforce the structure in a technical and responsible way,” he added.

“The most important thing for us is to return to our headquarters, and this in turn will serve to reactivate the commercial life that Bolívar Avenue always had, a situation that was affected by the earthquake,” added the first municipal authority.
