From this Wednesday, February 1 to Sunday, February 5, registration will be made to enter 52 technical and technological institutes, conservatories, law enforcement entities, and 14 public universities in the country to which the Secretary of Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (Senescyt) is supporting the student admission process.
Regardless of these higher education centers, from this year each university carries out its own admission process, so applicants must be attentive to the official channels of the institution that is of interest to them.
In the case of the centers to which the Senescyt is giving admission support, registration must be made on the website www.registrounicoedusup.gob.ec.
From February 1 to 5, registration will take place at 14 public universities. Know what they are
According to María Cristina Aguirre, Undersecretary of Access to Higher Education at Senescyt, when the bachelor enters he will find a form for each higher education institution or university, while for institutes it will be only one.
There will be an icon in the upper right corner to register.
Confirmation of registration must be made in the form and a photo of the applicant citizen must be uploaded.
No further information will be requested, as this was already requested at the time of registering on that platform.
Registration is done by clicking on the logo of the entity of interest and the registration confirmation must be saved or printed.
“Because in the evaluation (…) we will have supervision through a camera, they need to upload the photo so that the identity of the person who performs the evaluation can be verified,” Aguirre explained in a Facebook Live which was organized by the Senescyt, this Tuesday, January 31.
There is no specification of the background of the photo, although there is a weight.
Registration is the second step in the 2023 admission process.

The third step is the evaluation and the fourth, the application.
Aguirre added that the evaluation that Senescyt will also carry out in the centers with which it is collaborating in the admission process will be of competences and aptitudes in four fields: numerical, verbal, logical, and attention and concentration.
The evaluation will be virtual, but physical venues will also be enabled.
The fifth process is the acceptance of the quota and the sixth and last, the registration.
There are at least 17 universities that carry out their own admission processes. (YO)
