Natalia Ojeda and her daughter Sabina were located by personnel from the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office, it was reported on the night of this Thursday the 26th.

The prosecutor of the Missing Persons Unit, through a video call, reported that both are not at risk.

According to the entity, they left the country of their own free will.

General Fausto Salinas, commander of the National Police, said that the mother and her daughter are “safe and sound” in Colombia.

Since last January 3, both had been reported as missing, for which reason the Police and Prosecutor’s Office began their search and exposed telephone numbers for the provision of information by the public.

That day, Natalia contacted her father and her older sister and told them that she was out for a walk with her daughter and Manolo A., father of the one-and-a-half-year-old girl.

She had indicated that she was in Mindo, a town in the northwest of Pichincha. Since then, news of the woman and her daughter were unknown.

The relatives of Ojeda and her little daughter were struck by the fact that they were on a walk with the father of the minor, with whom she was separated a year and a half ago.

This week, relatives held a sit-in to ask for speed in the search.

In recent days, the Prosecutor’s Office raided the office of Manolo A. in Quito. There, indications were raised and the luminol test was applied, the result of which was negative.

Likewise, the agents raided the man’s home in Salcedo. Similarly, the luminol expertise was negative in that house, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.(YO)
