Srdjan Djokovic, the father of 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, was filmed with fans bringing Russian and DPR flags and other symbols related to supporting Russia’s NWO in Ukraine to the Australian Open, RBC reports.

According to the media, the incident occurred after the match between Novak Djokovic and Andrey Rublev, in which the Serbian beat the Russian in three sets.

The footage shows that Djokovic Sr. was with a man in a T-shirt with the letter Z and the inscription “Where we are, there is Russia”, holding a Russian flag with a portrait of President Vladimir Putin. Departing from the group of spectators, Djokovic Sr. said in Serbian: “Long live the Russians.”

According to media reports, the organizers of the tournament appealed to the team and the Serb’s family with a demand to refrain from political statements. At the Australian Open, the demonstration of the flags of Russia and Belarus is prohibited, as well as symbols and flags associated with support for military operations in Ukraine.

Djokovic, in addition to his victories on the court, is also known for his categorical refusal to vaccinate against the coronavirus, which is why he missed several tournaments.
