Once the so-called dynamic induction in the Quito Metro began, here are six aspects to take into account to travel without problems and for free on the trains, whose commercial operation is scheduled for the month of March of this year.
From Monday, January 23, the movement of users began in the wagons, despite the fact that the date had initially been announced as January 5. A technological inconvenience prevented its startup.
Three weeks later than expected, the first familiarization trips began on the Quito Metro
The Municipality of Quito reported that these are the six important points to do the tours:
-Enable the Metro Q account on the Quito Metro website cuentametroq.metrodequito.gob.ec/login so users can get their passes.
-Each person will have access to a maximum of 60 passes, two per day.
-On the website, users must choose the station from which they will make their trip and the time that suits them.
-The service hours at the stations will be from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00, and on weekends, from 08:00 to 11:00.
-From Tuesday, 14 stations will be enabled with the exception of Morán Valverde, located south of the city.
-All people must get their passes, even children from five years old.
The operator of the Quito Metro will be able to select among 244 technicians graduated in Ecuador, personnel for the project
The value of the ticket will be $0.45, and if it is used with the municipal transport system, $0.60 once the commercial operation begins in two months.
This underground transport will work with 18 trains, each with six wagons. They will travel 22 kilometers in 34 minutes between the north and south of Quito.
It is estimated that some 400,000 people would mobilize daily. (YO)
