The call for partial mobilization has been completed, but other provisions of the document continue to operate. About this, according to RBC, said the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the conscription was carried out “until the established number was reached.” But in addition to the call of citizens, partial mobilization also includes other measures for the fulfillment of tasks by the armed forces, Peskov said, adding that this is due to the performance of duties by military personnel.

“In this part, the decree continues to work,” he stressed.

What specific measures are implied is not specified. Peskov noted that this also applies to the “secret” paragraph of the decree – the seventh. Earlier it was reported that it refers to the number of conscripts.

The presidential press secretary gave the corresponding explanations in response to a question from journalists about why the deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly from Yabloko, Artur Gaiduk, was previously answered in the presidential administration to a request for a decree that it continues to operate.

Peskov, in turn, suggested that the wording of the administration’s response to continue the decree on mobilization be considered a “legal feature”.

Recall that Putin signed a decree on partial mobilization in the Russian Federation on September 21.

On October 31, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the end of conscription as part of partial mobilization. At the same time, an official decree on completion was not signed. The Kremlin explained that a separate decree is not required.
