Ukrainian blogger was mugged on the way to the beach in Ecuador

Vera, a young Ukrainian blogger living in Ecuador, was robbed on her way to the beach. This is how she told it in a video that she uploaded to her social networks.

“They stole everything we had,” Vera began by saying in her video. “Unfortunately Ecuador is not a very safe country. I have already been four times in Ecuador but just this time many bad things happened to me”, added the blogger.

“They stole everything from us, literally. Car, all the things we had, they even took our clothes,” Vera said. The 25-year-old Ukrainian promised to tell the full story soon, but for now she stated that “the important thing is that I am alive and without major damage.”

“It’s time to fight and continue working hard, as I was doing to recover at least the little that was stolen from us,” he said.

“After this last incident that happened to me, I made the decision to leave Ecuador and return to Europe,” he concluded.

Although she did not specify the place where the assault occurred or the people who accompanied her, she did tell on Instagram that she was kidnapped in a forest for one night.

Vera had been living in Ecuador for more than a year, and was dedicated to recording videos about her stay and the places she traveled to.
