“Long live we love you!”, the cry of the family of Natalia Ojeda and little Sabina, who have been missing since the first week of January

Dressed in white, carrying banners and balloons, dozens of people toured the center of Patate this Sunday to demand justice for the disappearance of Natalia Ojeda (31) and her little daughter Sabina (a year and a half).

“We want you alive!”, “We want justice!”, “We want you with us!”, “Not one less!”, were some of the phrases written on posters.

Natalia and Sabina were reported missing since the first week of January. Police shared photographs of both to report the disappearance.

In the march, gigantographs were also shown with the photographs of the disappeared mother and daughter. They lived in the capital, but Natalia is a native of Patate.

Juanita Villafuerte, one of the participants in the march, said that they are in solidarity with the Ojeda Rosales family, because they understand that it is a very difficult and painful situation.

She joined the request for the authorities to become more involved in order to find the whereabouts of the mother and her daughter.

Natalia’s father and Sabina’s grandfather, Félix Ojeda, who participated in the march, at times could not contain his tears because he did not know anything about the whereabouts of the last of his three children.

Together with his second daughter, Etna, he entrusted himself to the faith of Patate’s patron, the Lord of the Earthquake.

He said that he has a lot of faith and hopes that Natalia will return alive to reunite with the family and finish law school.

He pointed out that his daughter is the one in charge of the meetings, the one who is in charge of the house when there is a party. She is in charge of the floral arrangements and is always aware of details in the house so that everything goes well.

Etna Ojeda, Natalia’s sister, indicated that she worked in the Northern Judicial Complex (in Quito) as a judicial assistant.

He defined his sister as a humble, responsible person and above all a woman of integrity.

The family said that she no longer lived with the daughter’s father, but that she did frequent him to spend time with the girl.

Manolo A., Natalia’s ex-partner, does not appear.

“As a family, we ask that if this man (Manolo A.) ​​is listening to us, please let them go, we want them in case and well with us. We still want the authorities to pressure so that there is a lot of speed in the process so that they appear ”, he asserted.

The last contact he had was on January 3, but since the 4th nothing is known of their whereabouts.

So far, the Police have carried out several raids at the home of Natalia’s ex-partner and the home of the father of her former partner. There, evidence was collected, such as documents, and a luminol test was applied with a negative result. (YO)
