Police investigate threat that would have received a murdered university student in Milagro

Based on what was reported by witnesses, the monitoring of the radio patrols and the logistical support of the integrated service of ECU911, in a matter of a couple of hours they found the car in which three allegedly implicated in the crime of María Gema Moreira escaped, student of the State University of Milagro, which occurred on the night of this Friday the 20th.

After the tracking work, the apprehension by police officers took place on a coop road. Mayaicu, in the back of a shopping center in the El Fortín sector, in the northwest of Guayaquil.

These antisocials would have participated in the crime at the university and then moved to that northwest area in a white SZ vehicle.

Noticing the police presence, they tried to flee, but the quick intervention of the gendarmes managed to find those involved in the car with similar characteristics to the one used in the crime.

The detainees are Diego Alexander MD, 21, William Giuli VG, 25, and Joel Ulices ZE, 24. The latter has a history of robbery and micro-trafficking.

Three cell phones were found in his possession, which are intended to be reviewed to obtain more details of the murder, according to the Police.

The removal of traces and vestiges at the scene of the events, such as the clothing of those involved, is also expected to establish more evidence of their participation in the murder.

In shared images of the arrest, the apprehended are seen wearing overalls.

On this, Fausto Miño, chief in charge of zone 8 of the Police, indicated that his original clothing was removed in order to find any indication or vestige of a blood stain that would allow more relevant data to contribute to his involvement in the process.

“To submit to different legal proceedings and establish a link that leads to the clarification (of the case),” he said.

On the day of the crime, a witness to the incident indicated that she observed two citizens dressed in black sweaters who arrived on a motorcycle and shot the young woman.

In turn, another student of the victim reported that they had left to take a Sociology exam and suddenly one of the subjects stood next to his partner, for which he ran away thinking that it was an attempted robbery. , however, afterwards he only heard the shots.

In days prior to the crime, these citizens had been observing the movement of the student and when they found an opportunity they committed the crime, according to the Police.
