As of this Monday, November 8, drivers who do not comply with the Pico y Placa vehicle restriction will be sanctioned. Traffic limitation hours are from 05:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00, Monday through Friday, according to the last digit on the plate.
The financial penalties for violating the measure reach up to $ 200, if the driver repeats for the third time. The values are set according to the basic unified salary (SBU), which in 2021 is $ 400.

Parking lot
The Metropolitan Mobility and Public Works Company (Epmmop) reactivated the edge parking lots for people wishing to leave their vehicles. They operate from 04:00 to 22:00. The service is free, the only requirement is that the license plate matches the vehicle restriction.
