Agents of the National Police together with personnel from the group of Municipal agents carried out an operation this Sunday afternoon outside a shopping center in the El Fortín sector, on the Perimetral road, due to a bomb alert.
Residents of that sector called ECU-911 to alert of a suspicious vehicle that was abandoned in the back of the shopping center.
They find explosives in a car parked outside companies near the Penitentiary
Several police officers immediately arrived in patrol cars and motorcycles and proceeded to cordon off that sector to start the reviews.
Police from the Nueva Prosperina District explained that at the moment the inspection of the silver-colored car that caused concern in that area is continuing.
In addition, the security cameras of the place and surrounding sites are reviewed to obtain more details. (YO)
