After the New Year holidays, the number of patients admitted to the hospital with exacerbation of cardiovascular diseases is increasing – celebrations are especially dangerous for people with arrhythmia, smokers, those who lead a sedentary lifestyle, Sharafeev noted.

According to him, you can avoid the “holiday heart syndrome” if you refrain from drinking alcohol a week before the New Year, stop using alcohol and tobacco at the same time, as well as other smoking mixtures.
