In St. Petersburg, the Oktyabrsky court fined rapper Oxxxymiron 70,000 rubles (Miron Fedorov, recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) for public calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the prosecutor’s office of St. Petersburg.

“Having considered the decision of the prosecutor of the Admiralteisky district of St. Petersburg, the court held the guilty person administratively liable with a fine of 70 thousand rubles,” the report says.

The decision has not yet entered into force.

The reason for the proceedings was the song “Oida”, the video for which was posted on the rapper’s page on social networks. Psychological-linguistic examination, carried out at the request of the prosecutor’s office at St. Petersburg University, revealed in the text calls for actions that could lead to the separation of part of its territory from Russia.

In early December, the prosecutor’s office sent a lawsuit to the same Oktyabrsky court to ban the song “Oida” on the territory of the Russian Federation. The executor did not appear at the preliminary hearing on the case, which took place on Monday. The hearing has been adjourned until February 7.
