“The ornate presentation of the disposition allows us to conclude that now arguments will become unacceptable, for example, about the shortcomings of our assistance to the LDNR and other friendly countries, about the economic damage that awaits Russia in connection with the placement of reserve funds of the Russian Federation abroad, about the inefficiency of our membership in WTO, about the miscalculations of our intelligence in identifying laboratories for the production of biological weapons in Ukraine, etc., ”the deputy gave specific examples.
He also noted that the proposed norms did not pass the first reading procedure in the State Duma, but were introduced as a “trailer” for the second reading in the bill on punishment for damaging forest plantations. “There is no official response to these norms from the government, the Supreme Court and the legal department of the State Duma,” Sinelshchikov noted.
The State Duma adopted a law on criminal and administrative punishment for the dissemination of deliberately false information about the activities of state authorities abroad and their public discredit.
Earlier, a similar punishment was introduced for spreading fakes about the use of the Russian Armed Forces.
