After New Years, the second holiday of the following year is Carnival. This festivity has several traditions in different parts of Ecuador, but the parades, floats, and games never cease to amaze.
The Ministry of Tourism released the list of holidays that Ecuador will have between the years 2023 and 2025. According to the minister Niels Olsen, the carnival holiday of this new year will be on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 February 2023.
On the last carnival holiday, 186,439 people mobilized through locations on the Ecuadorian coastal profile, according to statistics shown by the national Emergency Operations Committee (COE).
Among the spas that had more daily visits were General Villamil, with 28,500 people; Crucita, with 22,670; The Bat, with 19,150; Chipipe and Salinas, with 16,600 each of these beaches.
Carnival 2023 will be on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 February. In accordance with the law on holidays, these dates are not recoverable. (YO)
