An Esvial EP traffic control agent was killed by unknown persons after getting out of a vehicle at the bus stop on Pacífico and Guayaquil streets, in the north of the city of Esmeraldas.
According to versions of witnesses who gave the Police, the victim who was dressed as a civilian got out of the car from the El Panecillo sector after 07:00 this Friday the 6th.
The man was standing up when four unknown subjects shot him repeatedly.

The victim was identified as Maikel García, approximately 23 years old, who lived in the Tercer Piso neighborhood and apparently was open, according to his relatives. Another person was also injured, but was stable in a sanatorium.
The motivation for this homicide would be directed or focused against the victim and at the scene of the incident, six shells percussed from a 9mm pistol were raised as evidence, said Santiago Viteri, head of the Esmeraldas police district, who was in the investigations together with Criminalistics, Dinased and Legal Medicine.
This is the second similar murder of municipal agents of Esvial EP Esmeraldas.
