Produce will allocate around S/196 million for the reactivation of mypes

The Ministry of Production (Produces) will allocate close to S/196 to millions for the reactivation of mypes in the country in a period of between three and six months. This through four measures included in the “With productive punche” program.

The first is related to the acquisition of goods from manufacturing mypes through the strengthening of the plan Purchases from MYPErú, for which S/88 million has been allocated. This item will be aimed at implementing the first executing nucleus of the program, said the Minister of Production, Sandra Belaúnde, at a press conference.

The head of Produce pointed out that, to complement the previous measure and guarantee its proper functioning, its portfolio will provide advice to small entrepreneurs in the application process for public purchases. “(This) can be a cumbersome process and we know that consulting can make things much more efficient,” he said.

The consultancies will allow MYPErú to access the Purchases program, while the CITEs will provide technical assistance to mypes in the textile and clothing sector, as well as leather and footwear nationwide. The initiative will cost S/5 million.

The third measure is related to the access to new markets. “We want mypes to be able to go out to other markets, this is a way to be more productive,” highlighted Minister Belaúnde. To this end, work will be done on the approval of goods, implementation of the Register of National Manufactured Products. In addition, the second stage of the Reactivated Mypes Co-financing Contest will be implemented, through the co-financing of up to S/35,000. Everything will require an investment of S/15 million.

Lastly, S/88 million will be injected for new demands for goods for six months within the framework of the DU 058-2011for the acquisition of goods from manufacturing mypes in the textile, clothing and leather sector, as well as footwear.
