On board a trike, several people were talking with two others who were on a linear motorcycle. They remained on the right side of the street when suddenly subjects who were traveling in another trike passed by the place and shot at the group.
The event occurred on the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 4, in Bolívar and Vernaza streets, in the cantonal capital of Daule, and caused concern among those who were in the sector at the time.
A man was found dead at his cell phone repair shop.
Some of the individuals from the trike that was attacked got out of the vehicle and fled, but one of them pulled out a firearm to respond to the attack, thus producing an exchange of bullets in broad daylight.
As a result of the confrontation, one man died and another was injured. The first was transferred to the basic hospital in Daule, where the death was confirmed, while the second from this health home was taken to Guayaquil.

Both victims are no more than 30 years old, it was preliminarily indicated.
The Police indicated that they have already located the trike and identified the alleged attackers. So far in 2023, this was the second violent death in Daule, a canton belonging to the province of Guayas. (YO)
