The yacht Eclipse, allegedly owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, has arrived off the southwest coast of Turkey. It is reported by Reuters with reference to data from the Marine Traffic portal.
The 160-meter Eclipse, which flies the flag of Bermuda, set sail from the Caribbean in late February and is currently moored in the port of Marmaris. On the eve of the coast of Turkey arrived the yacht Solaris, which is also associated with Abramovich. According to Reuters, Roman Abramovich is not on board these ships.
Earlier it became known that Abramovich refuses to sell Chelsea to investors from the US and the UK due to the fact that these countries have imposed sanctions on Russia, as well as on himself. The club is in danger of going into external management as the application deadline expired on 18 March. It is noted that the club wants to buy a company from Saudi Arabia, but there are fears that the deal could be blocked by the UK.
Also, we recall, British Foreign Minister Liz Truss believes that the sanctions imposed against Russian businessmen will not be lifted in the future. In particular, she believes that Chelsea owner Abramovich will not be able to return to the UK.
