Vologda journalist Anna Azovskaya was found murdered in a rented apartment in Moscow. This writes “KP-Vologda”. As reported, the 34-year-old woman was the host and founder of one of the Vologda radio stations.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow, the body was found on January 3. On examination, at least 30 stab wounds were found. According to Izvestia, the couple came from Vologda to Moscow for a few days. They arranged a festive photo shoot, and after it they returned to a rented apartment. There Azovskaya was killed.

Neighbors said they heard screams and requests for help and called the police.

A 33-year-old Vologda resident, the partner of the murdered woman, was prosecuted under the article “Murder”. The man was arrested the day before. He admitted his guilt and asked to choose a written undertaking not to leave as a measure of restraint.

He explained that, being in a state of intoxication, he hit the woman several times with a kitchen knife. She tried to hide in the bathroom, but the man managed to get inside and continued to strike.
