Fragments of an unknown object were found in a field on the territory of the Rudnyansky district of the Volgograd region. This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Ilmensky rural settlement Vladimir Plushenko.
The territory is cordoned off, there are no casualties or destruction.
Fragments were found by local residents after the fall, there are no eyewitnesses to the incident itself, so its exact date cannot yet be established, the agency notes.
The local publication V1.ru describes the wreckage found as “unidentified flying” objects.
“They were discovered about 20 km from the village of Ilmen. It happened yesterday in the morning, before lunch, about 20 kilometers northwest of the village of Ilmen. The police and the military are already there. There were no casualties. I can’t say what exactly fell, I don’t know, ”the head of the rural settlement told the publication.
On December 16, unidentified fragments fell in the Yelansky district of the Volgograd region, eyewitnesses of the fall said that it could be a drone or a rocket. The head of the district administration, Dmitry Litvinov, said that the fallen debris did not harm “socially significant infrastructure.”
