Franklin Intriago Marmolejo, 45, was found dead in the Daule-Peripa dam, in the rural parish of El Paraíso-La 14, after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, the Police reported.
Inhabitants of the Vistazo community, in the Eloy Alfaro sector, alerted the firefighters and police officers that they were surprised to see a bundle among the men of fashion and, when they got closer, they noticed that it was a corpse.

The first to arrive were the rescuers from the Fire Department, who verified that the man’s body was indeed lifeless.
Friends of the now deceased stated that he was a fisherman from the dam and also used to drink liquor while fishing. He lived alone.
The last time his friends saw him was last Sunday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m., while Intriago was in his canoe fishing in the dam.
Those close to the deceased did not know the whereabouts of the man until they found him dead. They add that he was always absent from home for several days.

Dinased agents, with the help of residents, removed the body from the water, which showed evidence of being in a state of decomposition.
By authorization of the prosecutor on duty, the body was removed, which was transferred to the Santo Domingo forensic center. (YO)
