During that event, he also announced that he would increase the military from six to ten days off for Christmas and the end of the year due to their additional contribution in controlling the country’s security.

The president said that by assuming these tasks the military have lost some of their free days (free). For this reason, at Christmas and the end of the year, depending on their shifts, they will now be able to take ten days to spend with their families.
Lasso highlighted the work of both military personnel and the National Police in the provinces of Guayas, Esmeraldas and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, where the state of emergency is in force.
The president made this announcement for the military. So far, according to the Ministry of the Interior, it has not been extended to the National Police.
Lasso indicated that they will continue to be vigilant with security operations and coordination to maintain control and prevent new criminal attacks. (YO)
