The Chilean Navy expressed “its concern about the situation that affects a member” of the entity.

According to that entity, through official channels it has activated the protocols to come to the aid and support of the family of the missing sailor.

Chilean media reported this Thursday that the victim’s family met with personnel from the Investigative Police to receive information regarding the case.

Yessenia Cruces, mother of the First Corporal of the Navy, asked for help to find her son. “Please do everything you can to find my son. It is desperate not to hear from him, ”she said.

The information that is known is that they have asked for $100,000 as part of the ransom.

The Toledo family was this Thursday at the Investigative Police (PDI) headquarters located in the Brisas del Sol sector, in Talcahuano, in Chile, to meet with detectives from the Special Police Investigations Brigade.

Roxana Muñoz, cousin of the kidnapped sailor in Ecuador, told the newspaper Chilean Province that the PDI took the case and have been pending. “There is a staff that is there and they have been in contact with them,” said Muñoz. (YO)
