A man fired from the side of a road against the vehicle in which prosecutor César Peña was traveling.
The judicial operator denounced that the event occurred on the Naranjal-Balao road, on the morning of Thursday 28.
Peña was going to his office at the Prosecutor’s Office in the canton of El Triunfo when the news was registered. The bullet landed on the windshield, but did not enter the passenger compartment.

After being shot, the prosecutor accelerated and reported the news to the authorities.
