Blanco, 20, is a fourth-semester student of Social Communication at the Eloy Alfaro de Manta Lay University (Uleam), and said she was flattered by the appointment.

“I feel excited, I don’t know how to thank so much affection, I wanted to cry with emotion, it is a pride to be the queen of Manta”, declared Blanco.
