French President Emmanuel Macron convened an inter-ministerial crisis cell (CIC) on Thursday morning after another night of rioting over the death of a teenager in a police shooting, the presidency announced.

One hundred and fifty people were arrested in France on Wednesday night in riots following the death of a teenager shot by a police officer, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced.

The minister denounced “unbearable violence against symbols of the Republic” in a tweet and criticized those who did not call for calm.

“Town halls, schools and police stations” were “set on fire or attacked,” the minister wrote on his Twitter account.

“Shame on those who did not cry for calm,” Darmanin added.

A bus has also been set on fire in Grigny, according to a source.

Similarly, a fire was registered in a school in Tourcoing and in a school in Halluin (north).

A school in Evreux was also the target of a “fire start” according to the source.

In Rouen, fire broke out in a local police station, details ep. Elbeuf police station was “attacked” and damaged, and mortars were fired at Trappes police station, the source said.
