Many experienced housewives also use the dishwasher for preserving fishing. This knowledge is very useful in the summer when we prepare a lot of them. A minimum of work is enough to pasteurize preserves using a dishwasher. How to go about it?

• We prepare jars. For this purpose, we wash them thoroughly, steam them and dry them.
• We put vegetables or dishes inside, for example bigos, aleo, stew or soup. However, 2-3 cm of free space should be left at the top.
• We close the jars properly. If the edges become dirty during pouring, wipe them again. To be sure, the wounds of the dishes and the inside of the lids can be wiped with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol. If a layer of grease or contamination remains on their surface, the lids may become unsealed and the preserves may spoil.
• Place the jars upside down in the dishwasher. Set the device to the program with the highest temperature. Usually it’s around 70 degrees Celsius. Of course, we do not add any washing detergents. We turn on the dishwasher.
• After the program is over, take out the jars and place them upside down. We leave it like that for a day. After this time, we set them normally, check if the lids are concave. If so, the pasteurization was successful.
