the mexican actress Michelle Renaud, 33, It cannot be explained how he managed to break into the cinema while he was in the recordings of The Heritage, telenovela in which he stars and which, he assures, has been his “best project”.
“I don’t know how I did it, I think I’m the first protagonist who can be doing a soap opera and at the same time be in a movieI don’t know how I did it, both were achieved and although I’ve been a lifelong ‘protelenovela’, I also loved making movies”, says the 33-year-old artist in an interview with Eph.
Renaud will be part of the next two films by JM Cravioto, Hunch, which focuses its plot on the “greatest fraud in the history of Mexico”, occurred in 2012 with a lottery prize, and Evilwhere she will give life to a supposed witch.
Although being divided into two projects was quite a challenge, Renaud says that it has been very impressive for her to see that her work has been able to diversify arriving on the big screen alongside personalities such as Osvaldo Benavides, Bruno Bichir and Adrián Vázquez, among others.
“When I see myself in Evil I can’t believe that I’m the one there, I think it’s going to surprise many”, he points out.
“It has been incredible, every day I came to record and told them that I needed oxytocin and they all hugged me, it was constant love, we made scenes where we ended up and hugged each other for an hour because of everything we just moved,” he says.
The magic of soap opera
The telenovela follows the life of Sara, a woman who comes to demand part of her inheritance from her father’s house and has a first encounter with her five brothers, who will not take her arrival lightly.
His brothers in fiction are played by Mauricio Henao, Daniel Elbittar, Emmanuel Palomares, Juan Pablo Gil and Matías Novoawith whom he surpassed the acting part and although the recordings of the project ended, Renaud says that he remains with the love and friendship that he created with his colleagues whom he considers family in real life.
“I had had to work on incredible productions but here there was something else, there was a much more intimate and magical relationship between everyone. Without a doubt, it is the best project I have ever done,” he says.
However, not everything in the recordings was easy, because the actress suffered an accident for which she was hospitalized, but even in that experience she managed to find one of her most beloved tastes for now.
“I had to start getting into a tub with ice every day because in the recordings of The Heritage i fell off a horse and I ended up in the hospital, to be able to continue recording I needed to walk and with the ice I did it, now I want everyone to try it because I love sharing what works for me and this is going to change their lives”, he assures.
Finally, Renaud anticipates that the story of Sara and her brothers will continue full of surprises and intrigues and considers that the greatest lesson left by the story is to think about the actions we have towards our environment.
“The most important thing is that the greatest inheritances we leave behind are the legacy of love, family union, we always think of money when we talk about inheritances, but this story teaches us friendship, brotherhood, being honest,” he says. .
Renaud and the Ecuadorian actor Daniel Carrera they met in 2018 during the recordings of the telenovela daughters of the moon. After that, they began a romantic relationship.
