The Pulitzers honor Ukrainian journalists with a special award for their coverage of the war

The awards Pulitzer have distinguished this year with a special award to Ukrainian journalists for his coverage of the Russian invasion of the country. In this edition of the journalistic awards, the newspaper ‘Washington Post‘ has been recognized with the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for his coverage of the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021 for the “forceful and vivid” presentation of his coverage. For the jury, the newspaper offered its readers “a thorough and determined understanding of one of the nation’s darkest days.”
