In this deal, this musician will also link his bandmates from rockwho will also be affected by a curse.

“My beginnings were in the 80s. I had the great opportunity to meet great requintistas, like Guillermo Rodríguez (…) And, then, they always told their stories. For example, there are stories of people who, when the radio did not yet exist, attended the Quito serenades; and there were a lot of people who wanted to learn to play the guitar or learn to sing, and they didn’t have enough talent. Well, they had to go (…) suddenly to ask for help from unknown forces”, explains Qvintana.

Regarding the talents that are part of the film, he says: “For me it has been pleasant to meet new people, new talents. A summoned casting”. He says that the realization was also complicated, because it was carried out in the midst of a pandemic. “All the production equipment was made by casting”, he comments. Between 25 and 30 people make up the production team, which includes the actors.

The main cast is made up of Dylan Vallejos, Johana Zambrano, Alejandra Ponce, Jósselin Guerrero, Genderson Jaguaco, Cristóbal Colón, Víctor Chileno, Adonis Arévalo and Alexandra Tufiño.

Regarding the expectations with this film, the director indicates that he seeks to leave a legacy. “Leave a story. They are stories that suddenly could have happened, as well as not, but that are within the culture and wealth, in this case, of Quito. Because we have focused on showing all these types of stories, but linked to the theme rockso that there is a more youthful, more dynamic context”, he points out.

“Our target it is to leave a legacy, a culture, and leave a message more than anything to today’s youth. Suddenly, their minds are distorted with these new cultures, one could say ‘urban subcultures’, of reggaeton music, which don’t really contribute anything to society. So, possibly we leave that legacy (…). As a music teacher, as a cultural manager, that is my target”, he adds.

Since 2010 he has been working for different production companies, including Touché Films. Regarding his work as CEO, deadly anthem it becomes the second film he makes; the first was an action and drama entitled Killer of killerswhich is available on Facebook.
