Euskaraz irakurri: Loreto Mauleon da “Gelditasuna ekaitzean” Alberto Gastesiren lehen film luzearen protagonist
The actress Loreto Mauleón stars in “The stillness in the storm”, the first feature film by Alberto Gastesi from San Sebastian, which will conclude filming in San Sebastián in June after having already filmed the first part in April.
The film explores a love story, that of a couple whose paths separated and who meet again years later, as explained by the production company responsible for the project, Vidania Films from San Sebastian.
“The stillness in the storm (Gelditasuna ekaitzean)” will be an 85-minute film, in black and white and in 4:3 format, shot in Basque and Spanish.
“It talks about people of a generation that can’t find a place and that doesn’t allow a story, a form of disenchantment shared here between two strangers who aren’t really so: two lives that meet in the present but have crossed paths before. also, in a fleeting way”, explains the director Alberto Gastesi, born in 1985, who is already preparing his second feature film, “Singular”.
Also part of the film team are Esteban Ramos (director of photography), Itziar Otxoa (production director), Alejandra Arróspide (art direction), Andrea Sáenz Pereiro (sound), Jaione Daubagna (assistant director), Loinaz Jauregui (producer), Iona Lacunza (costume manager), Kizkitza Retegui (makeup) and Olga Cruz (hairdresser).
The premiere of “The stillness in the storm”, which has the support of the Basque Government, is scheduled for autumn this year.
