The daily adventures of the inhabitants of the village of Wilkowyje were followed by millions of Poles in the cult series “Ranch”. The TVP production broadcast in 2006-2016 (with a three-year break) became a real hit of the station. From the first season in the cast of the series, we could admire Magdalena Waligórska-Lisiecka playing the role of Wioletka. Although the actress is undoubtedly associated with her by many viewers, this is not the only popular production with her participation.

Currently, 41-year-old Waligórska is a graduate of the State Higher Theater School. Ludwik Solski in Krakow, which she graduated in 2007. However, she started her adventure with acting earlier. The first series you could see her in was “Samo Życie” in 2005. Later, she also appeared in the well-known series “Na Wspólnej” and “Rodzina Zastpcza.” However, the role of Violetka from “Rancza” brought her real popularity.
She played a local bartender in it, who initially, due to her original style and manner, was not liked by the female community of Wilkowyj. Over time, her role has evolved and viewers have come to love her. The performance in the TVP series, however, was associated with many sacrifices for the star, which she herself mentioned in one of:
– One year, when we started shooting “The Ranch” in June and we finished in September, I had to make a written commitment that I would not sunbathe during the summer break. I remember going on vacation to Portugal and hiding from the sun. I had to forget about carefree sunbathing, and I smeared my whole body with cosmetics with UV filters so that there was no contrast in the recordings. It was a stressful situation for me.
The role of Wioletka turned out to be a bull’s eye. More professional offers began to come to the actress
During the production of the series “Ranch”, the actress had the opportunity to appear in many other popular series, such as “For good and for bad”, “Plebania” or “Father Mateusz”. Waligórska also received a role in several well-known film productions, such as “How Much Does the Trojan Horse Weigh?”, “Big Love” or “My Daughters of Cows”. This year, a romantic comedy with her participation, “Szczęścia chodzi pami”, starring Weronik Ksikiewicz and Michał Żurawski, hit theaters.

In 2016, Magdalena married actor Mateusz Lisiecki in Rome. The couple are happy parents of their son Piotr and daughter Natalia. The star willingly shares her professional and private life on an Instagram profile, where she is followed by over 32,000 fans.
