The eighth studio album of the Germans has already met with an excellent reception. The “Revolver” magazine appreciated the balance between “slowly developing beauty and industrial power”. Longplay was announced by the songs “Zick Zack” and the title “Zeit”. On the occasion of the album premiere, Rammstein released another single, “Angst”. premieres on Friday at 17:00 on YouTube.
Rammstein is back with a new album and tour
Till Lindemann (vocals), Paul Landers (guitar), Richard Z. Kruspe (guitar), Flake (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass) and Christoph Schneider (drums) have been working on the 11 songs that fill “Zeit”, for the last two years. During the session, they were accompanied by the Berlin producer Olsen Involtini. The recordings took place at La Fabrique Studios in St. Rémy de Provence, in France. Popular rock musician and respected photographer Bryan Adams is responsible for the cover of “Zeit”. The photo session took place on the steps of the Trudelturm building, in Berlin’s aerodynamic park.
In early April, a rumor began to circulate that a team from Berlin had invested in a beauty clinic called Zick Zack. The media was in turmoil. Rammstein fans from all over the world started calling the Zick Zack Hotline to make an appointment, learn more about the clinic, or simply chat with a group of experts. The text and the clip (which – let’s add – was made in Poland!) For the single “Zick Zack” raise the subject of the compulsive tendency of some individuals to self-optimize. It is often associated with very radical changes in appearance and intensive use of the scalpel.
The album “Zeit” is available in various formats: from a standard CD in a digipak with a 20-page booklet, through a special CD edition in a 6-panel digipak and a 56-page booklet, and a double 180-gram vinyl with a large-format 20-page booklet, to digital. As part of the promotion of “Zeit”, Rammstein will go on a concert tour that will also include Poland. On July 16, 2022, the German band will play at PGE Narodowy.
