During Holy Week, Ecuadorians enjoy with their families a typical dish rich in a variety of grains and other ingredients that enrich the palate. Fanesca is not just another dish, it is the food heritage of Ecuadorians.
The fanesca is prepared with cod, squash, zambo, beans, chochos, corn, peas, beans, rice, onion, garlic, cumin, achiote, peanuts, milk, cream and cheese.

Until April 14 you can enjoy the plate of fanesca with humita and typical sweets for $10. If you want to purchase the liter of fanesca to take away, it costs $18; and if you want to accompany it with humita and typical sweets, $21. (I)
