Daniel Austerson of the renowned writer Paul Auster, has been arrested by the New York Police accused of involuntary manslaughter for the deaths by her 10-month-old daughter overdosedaccording to the ‘New York Times’.
The arrest took place last Friday night after the autopsy revealed that the little girl suffered a fentanyl and heroin overdoseunknown how they could enter his body.
The events occurred on November 1, when Daniel Auster took care of her. It was then that he called the police alerting that the girl was unconscious, and she was transferred to Methodist Hospital. There, they could do nothing for her life.
Paul Auster’s son has criminal record drug related. His father is a novelist known for works such as ‘A Man in the Dark’, ‘The Book of Illusions’, ‘The New York Trilogy’ or ‘Leviathan’, receiving awards including the Prince of Asturias of Letters in 2006.
