Cleaning a burnt pot may seem difficult, but there are simple and effective ways to do it. Everyone uses items they probably have on hand, such as boiling water, white vinegar, washing-up liquid, baking soda. See what to use and how to keep the burnt pot clean again.
How to clean a burnt pot? Here are three home remedies
- Reduce the heat a little and leave it on the stove for a few minutes. Remove from heat and allow the vinegar to cool slightly. Then add about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the pot. A mixture of these two ingredients will cause an effervescent reaction. When the gurgling stops, discard the liquid. Then scrub the pot with a dish brush or dish cloth suitable for the type of pan being used.
- Bring the water to a boil and boil it for 5 to 7 minutes. Then remove the pot from the oven and set it aside to cool. When the water is at room temperature, pour it out.
- Boil it again for about 5 minutes. Repeat the steps: let the pot soak in the liquid, then pour it out and scrub the remains of the burnt residues using a sponge that is safe for the dish being cleaned.
