Tabakalera has selected the winning projects for the advice and support programs for emerging directors and creators of television series.
María Inés Goncalves, Andrea Sánchez and Ainhoa Gutiérrez have been selected for the program for emerging directors Noka Mentoning 2022 by Tabakalera while “Agur Terrorista” by Lander Castro and Igor García, “Anomaly” by Ana Urquijo “Eneko” by Asier Urbieta, have been chosen for the call for projects for television series 2deo 2022.
The selected creators will have the support of three tutors, as well as work sessions with professionals from the sector, resources from Tabakalera and financial aid for the development of the project.
Promoted by the Department of Culture of the Basque Government and Tabakalera, in collaboration with the Zineuskadi association, Moka Mentoring seeks to promote the presence and visibility of emerging female directors based in Hego Euskal Herria.
In this edition the tutors will be Maider Oleaga, Mar Coll and Diana Toucedo.
The selected directors will receive 4,000 euros each to carry out their project, which they will present to the industrial sector of the San Sebastian Film Festival.
Those selected for the “2deo” program promoted by the Tabakalera audiovisual laboratory and the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council will have the mentorship of the scriptwriter Laura Sarmiento, the producer Xabier Berzoas and the director Aitor Gabilondo and with a grant of 6,000 euros.
