Rising bills and living costs mean that we are increasingly looking for ways to find savings in the home budget. Subsidies for heating can help in this. There are several programs that you can use to get money for your home renovation. We advise who can use them.

Co-financing from Tauron. A new program for the company’s customers has been announced

“Warm up with Tauron” is a solution that can be used by owners and co-owners of single-family houses using the offer of an energy company. Surcharges can be obtained for replacing the heating device with a model with a higher energy efficiency class, i.e. a heat pump, condensing gas boiler, electric flow-through or accumulation heater.

The amount of co-financing depends on the year of construction of the house and the type of selected solution. The non-returnable subsidy may range from PLN 400 to PLN 4200. Moreover, these funds are to be exempt from tax, and obtaining them will not exclude the possibility of applying for a subsidy from the “Clean Air” program.

In the case of the government program, the applicant’s income is a key factor. They cannot exceed 100,000 per year. zloty. The subsidy under the current edition may amount to PLN 30,000. up to 69 thousand PLN depending on the purchase made. These funds can be spent on:

  • purchase and installation of new devices that meet the program requirements;
  • insulation of building partitions;
  • replacement of windows and doors;
  • installation of renewable energy sources;
  • assembly of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

Cover additive. Who is eligible for this form of funding?

The shielding allowance is also a government proposal, but as part of the anti-inflationary shield. It is a one-off form of aid and its amount depends on income. It can be:

  • PLN 400 per year for one-person households with income up to PLN 2,100 per month;
  • PLN 600 per year for households of 2-3 persons with an income of up to PLN 1,500 per person per month;
  • PLN 850 per year for 4-5-person households with income up to PLN 1,500 per person per month;
  • PLN 1,150 per year for households of 6 and more with an income of up to PLN 1,500 per person per month.

In the case of families who heat their farms with coal, the payments will be higher than PLN 100 to PLN 287. By March 31, the first installments should be on the accounts of people who submitted applications by the end of January 2022. The others have until October 31 to submit the form. The money in their case will be paid out no later than December 2, 2022.
