Not only business customers, but also retail customers using InPost services will soon experience changes. The company, through its own, issued a short message about new rates and modifications to the regulations. The reason for this decision is not given, but taking into account the rampant inflation, one can guess that it is the result of rising costs of doing business.
Changes in InPost. The new rates will apply from April 1, 2022
Everyone must prepare for the new prices. The prices for parcels will be about PLN 1 on average. In the case of business customers using InPost 24/7 parcel lockers, the rates, depending on the size of the parcel, will increase as follows:
- A – from PLN 9.44 to PLN 10.19
- B – from PLN 10.70 to PLN 11.56
- C – from PLN 13.64 to PLN 14.73
For retail customers, the prices of Parcel Manager, Quick Shipments and InPost Mobile Applications will increase. They will cost:
- size A – from PLN 12.99 to PLN 13.99
- size B – from PLN 13.99 to PLN 14.99,
- size C – from PLN 15.49 to PLN 16.49.
New rates also for InPost courier services
From April, InPost courier services will also increase. Until now, business customers had to pay PLN 15.75 for a 1 kg parcel. From next month it will be PLN 17.01 net. If you want to use the option of delivering a parcel to a specific time, you also have to take into account a higher cost. Until the end of March, the amount for a parcel weighing 1 kg by 10:00 am will be PLN 82.95. Later it will increase to PLN 89.59.
These are not the only changes to InPost this year. The use of the company’s services was modified in January
This year, these will be the next changes introduced by the carrier. Modifications to the regulations also appeared in January, although they were forced by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection due to incoming customer complaints. I am talking about:
- redirecting a parcel to a parcel locker located up to 2 km from the destination point only for 24h. After this time, he must return to the parcel locker selected by the recipient,
- no penalty in the amount of PLN 3.68 for sending a parcel with dimensions other than declared,
- extending the time of picking up the parcel from points with limited availability.
