Third day of the Malaga Film Festival with the screening of the series ‘Heridas’, Atresmedia’s new fiction project, starring Adriana Ugarte and María León. It is an intense drama, exciting and tender at the same time, which starts from a feeling as deep as motherhood.
Manuela lives alone in a cabin, and a few kilometers away lives Alba, a seven-year-old girl who is looking for “a mother”, since hers, Yolanda, is never there. The day they meet will change Manuela’s life forever. “I am going to be your mother and you are going to be my daughter,” Manuela tells him.
“We are telling a social drama that unfortunately is more common and real than we would like,” said the actress María León, who along with Adriana Ugarte and little Cosette Silguero are part of the cast of the fiction that premieres exclusively on ATRESplayer PREMIUM in April.
‘Wounds’ premiered at the Malaga Festival, as did the film by ‘Camera Café’, which has been received with applause and cheers.
The Malaga Festival turns 25 and, to celebrate it, the city has dressed up in luxury. In addition, this year they honor the filmmaker Carlos Saura, who has collected the Biznaga de Honor for a career that has led him to be nominated for an Oscar three times. Saura has shown in Malaga that at 90 years of age he is still in top form and is presenting a new short film: ‘Goya 3 de Mayo’.
