For the 14th pension, the income criterion applies. This is the only condition apart from reaching the retirement age and obtaining retirement status. Senior cannot exceed PLN 2,900 gross. Such conditions were in force in 2021, but it is not known whether the income threshold will not change due to valorization. For people who do not meet the financial criteria, there is the 13th pension in 2022.
How much is the pension 14 in 2022? The amount is higher than a year ago
Due to indexation, the minimum pension increased in 2022. The same is “thirteen” and “fourteen”. The fourteenth pension is scheduled to be paid out at the end of summer or early fall. This means that the amount will be credited to seniors’ accounts after the March indexation. Its amount is PLN 1,338.44. gross. In 2021, it was PLN 1,250.88 gross. In addition, the poorest seniors will not pay tax.
These people will not get their pension in 2022 or will get less
Seniors who exceed the financial threshold do not have to be sad. The “PLN for PLN” rule applies, so if the amount exceeded the threshold was not significant – they still have a chance to benefit. It is different for people who have exceeded the threshold as much as the minimum pension. They will do well.
