Starting today, a traveling exhibition will cover the hundred years of musical activity of the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa. The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, and the Deputy General of Bizkaia, Unai Rementeria, opened the exhibition outside the Arriaga Theater this morning. The exhibition is made up of 12 panels that represent the different stages in the history of musical training.
The exhibition will remain in the Plaza del Teatro Arriaga until March 30 and later, until mid-September, it can be seen in the Biscayan towns of Getxo, Barakaldo, Durango, Markina-Xemein, Bermeo, Balmaseda and Orduña.
The opening of this exhibition is part of an extensive program of activities that includes concerts, lecture series, the creation of a gigantic urban mural and the publication of a comic on the history of the orchestra.
