Ainhoa Arteta and the Icelandic baritone Johann Kristinsson will star alongside the Pamplona Choir the next subscription program Euskadiko Orkestrawhich will also have another guest conducting, the Austrian Georg Mark.
A single work, “A German Requiem” by Brahms, is the piece that will be performed in the five scheduled concerts, the first of which will take place on the 23rd at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.
On March 25 and 28, the performances will arrive at the Kursaal auditorium in San Sebastián, on Wednesday 23 at the Baluarte in Pamplona and on April 1 at the Principal theater in Vitoria, according to the orchestra in a note.
For these concerts, the group has Georg Mark, one of the “great specialists” of the Germanic repertoire of the 19th century, to interpret “one of the paradigmatic works of that period”.
