Between March 12 and 19, Gernika will host a new edition of the festival Lekuek. Always with music as the axis, the public will be able to enjoy dance, theater, talks, cinema, markets, workshops and, above all, concerts. The organization has explained that it has prepared a poster to “wake up from hibernation.”
Lekuek is a self-managed festival, which this year will reach Astra, Iparragirre Rock Elkartea, Kult Parnasoa, Lizeo and different streets and bars in Gernika.
On Saturday, March 12, the festival will start with a bang: there will be street music from noon, and Astra will vibrate with the metal of The Broken Horizon, Prymeral and Numen.
On Sunday, the day will begin with a record and art market, and for 13:30 they have announced a Trigger concert. On Monday and Tuesday it will be the turn of the talks, and on Wednesday Empty Files will recover the concerts: it will be from 9:00 p.m. in Astra.
At the edge of the second weekend, John Duer & The Blues Freaks will take their proposal to Iparragirre starting at 9:00 p.m.
And the musical menu for the second weekend could not be more powerful. On Friday you can choose between Naz (Lagun Etxea), Gailu and Za! (Iparragirre Rock Elkartea), Seiurte (Musutruk) and Punky Reggae Gaua (Against You and Skakeo, in Astra).
On Saturday, to end the festival, they will perform at Lekuek Verde Prato (Lizeo), J Martina, Merina Gris, Dupla and Gora Etorri (Astra), Giudi e Quani and Acid Mess (Iparragirre) and Addar (Kult Parnasoa).
